To achieve the "Champion Transformation," consistency is key, not marathon sessions. We recommend a commitment of 20–30 minutes of focused practice per day, broken into 2–4 short, manageable blocks. This includes dedicated exercises plus integrating skills (like easy nasal breathing) into your daily life. You're busy we understand that. This program is custom tailored with you to fit your life.
You'll notice small victories right away! Most people experience immediate change within the first week, like a clearer nose, a feeling of calm after an exercise, or falling asleep slightly easier. For sustainable transformation, with lasting changes in health, sleep quality, and confident performance, we start with 4 to 6 weeks of consistent daily practice. This isn't a quick fix, and ultimate results may not be seen for months as we are actively retraining lifelong habits and resetting your nervous system.
While the Buteyko Method is clinically proven to help reduce the symptoms that lead to a reliance on medication, as your Nurse Coach and Functional Breathing Instructor, I focus on empowering you with tools, but I never adjust your medication. As you gain control over your symptoms, I strongly encourage you to work directly with your prescribing physician. They can assist you in monitoring your progress and safely discuss any changes to your treatment plan.
Yes, absolutely. Depending on your medical condition, we may alter your plan to ensure that you are safe. Many clients start while taking medication, and as a Nurse, we are expertly trained to work with a wide range of chronic conditions. Full transparency on your part is key to making sure that all exercises are appropriate for your condition. If your condition is complex, we will often ask you to coordinate with your primary care physician to ensure safe monitoring throughout our journey. We never recommend stopping any prescription abruptly or without consulting with your prescribing physician.
