Reproductive Loss Support

A Compassionate Space to Honor Your Experience

Reproductive loss is a profound and deeply isolating experience.

Whether you are navigating miscarriage, stillbirth, termination, infertility, or adoption loss, this grief touches every part of your being. It has a potential to impact your physical health, your emotional well-being, and your relationships.

Whether you have shared your journey openly or have chosen to carry it privately, the weight of this loss can feel completely invisible to the world around you.

Too often, individuals are met with well-intentioned but painful pressure to "move on" or minimize their grief.

However, deep loss cannot be rushed or bypassed.

Unaddressed grief can quiet down, but it remains stored in the body, impacting your health and resilience for years.

Healing does not mean forgetting your experience, nor does it mean erasing the grief. Instead, it is the gentle, structured process of integrating this loss into your life story, learning somatic and emotional strategies to process the pain while honoring your experience.

I see you because I’ve been where you are.

It was only through my own dedicated process of recovery that I learned how to truly honor my loss and move forward.

My personal journey, combined with over two decades as a Critical Care Nurse and additional specialized reproductive loss training, has taught me a fundamental truth: while the pain of this loss is undeniably real, so is your capacity to heal.

You do not have to carry this weight in isolation.

The Journey:

Move Forward, Not "On"

This isn’t about "fixing" your grief or forgetting your loss. It is about navigating the pain in a way that allows you to breathe again.

Reproductive Loss Support is a structured, compassionate 5-week online curriculum designed to help individuals and couples navigate the unique complexities of reproductive grief.

Class 1: Laying the Foundation for Grief

We'll begin by welcoming you and your unique experience. An opportunity will be available for sharing personal stories to build a sense of connection.

Debunk the myth of linear "stages of grief" and embrace the reality of a messy, non-linear process. Discover the "Grieving Style Continuum" to understand your own unique way of processing loss.

Class 2: Understanding Your Grief's Reality Beyond the Surface:

Explore how your grief intersects with partners and support systems, and address common misunderstandings. Learn about "Disenfranchised Grief", the pain that society often doesn't acknowledge, and discuss the pressure to "return to normal."

Class 3: Healing from Guilt and Self-Talk

Address the powerful internal struggles of guilt, shame, and self-blame that often accompany reproductive loss. Learn how to shift from self-blame to self-compassion.

Class 4: The Ripple Effect of Loss

Identify the full scope of your grief by exploring compounding losses that extend beyond the central event. Utilize a guided activity to name and acknowledge various facets of your profound experience. Connect this deeper awareness to refining and expanding your personal support system.

Class 5: Building a New Path

Reframe your understanding of grief and gain a practical "tool book" for engagement. Explore the concept of "post-traumatic growth" and the possibility of finding renewed hope, meaning, and even joy, without diminishing your loss.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to share my story during the group sessions?

Sharing is a personal choice. While there are opportunities to share personal stories to build connection , I believe your experience is sacred. You are welcome to simply listen and participate in the exercises and teaching at your own pace.

My loss happened years ago. Is this course still for me?

Yes. When we push grief aside, the hurt can become a festering wound that lasts for decades. Whether your loss was recent or occurred years ago, this course helps you recognize, honor, and integrate that experience into your life story so you can finally move forward.

Can my partner (or support person) attend with me?

Absolutely. We highly encourage partners and support persons to attend, as reproductive loss affects relationships and support systems. Having a support person present can help you both find a shared rhythm for healing.

How is a Nurse Coach different from a therapist?

As a Board Certified Nurse Coach, Registered Nurse, and Reproductive Grief Specialist, I provide educational and behavioral support to complement your journey. While I do not provide professional medical treatment or mental health diagnoses, I help you focus on the physiology of your grief, helping you move from "survival mode" to a state of resilience and vitality.

What happens if I'm not ready to "move on"?

This journey is not about "moving on" or forgetting. It is about learning to live with the pain in a way that allows you to breathe again. We focus on "post-traumatic growth," which means finding hope and peace without ever diminishing the importance of your loss.

Cohort Schedule and Commitment

To protect the emotional safety and psychological trust of everyone in the room, Reproductive Loss Support is conducted as a closed cohort. This means all participants begin Week 1 together and complete the curriculum together; ensuring a stable, private container where no new faces drop in mid-program.

Weekly Cadence: Sessions take place on Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM MST.

Course Duration: The full curriculum spans 5 consecutive weeks. Because each week builds sequentially on the next, a commitment to attending all 5 sessions is highly recommended for your personal integration and recovery.

Registration Window: A new seasonal cohort launches quarterly. Enrollment strictly closes 48 hours prior to the first session to allow for clinical intake screening and proper group preparation. Late registrations cannot be accommodated.
